Mrs. Noreen Livoti’s New Position

We would like to announce that Mrs. Noreen Livoti will be shifting her role this year to be able to spend more time in the classroom. Originally hired at NCA two years ago as office manager, Mrs. Livoti, who holds a certification in Elementary Education from the State of Florida, taught part-time last year as the 5th grade Language Arts and Science teacher. This year, she will teach three classes – grades 6, 7, and 8 Language Arts – as well as work at the front desk part-time.
Although she has previously taught 1st and 4th grades in her home state of New York, Mrs. Livoti is excited to return to her “first love” of Language Arts, and will earn her Florida State Middle Grades English certification at the end of this year.
Before teaching, Mrs. Livoti, who holds a BA in English with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Messiah College in Pennsylvania, worked as a full-time writer and editor for a local magazine for six years. She has freelanced both in writing and editing for more than a decade, and hopes to inspire a love of writing and literature in her students.
When not in a classroom, answering phones at the front desk, or relaxing with her nose in a book, you can find Mrs. Livoti spending time with her family. Her two children love attending NCA and she is blessed to be part of the staff!
